Instruction for Use:

Substrate Preparation: Substrates must be flat, free of loose particles, clean and suficiently dry. Gypsum substrates andanhydrite screeds must be perfectly dry and treated with Primer G, Primer S or Eco Prim T Plus.

Preparing The Mix: Pour 25kg bag of Adesilex P10 into a bucket containing 8.25-9L of clean water and mix until a lump free homogeneous paste is obtained, allow to stand for 5 minutes, remix and the paste is ready for application. The resultant paste of Adesilex P10 remains workable for about 8 hours.

Applying the mix: Apply Adesilex P10 with a notched trowel in the proper quantity to obtain an optimal wetting of the back of the tile.

Adjustable Time: Approx 30 min

Open Time: >30 minutes

Curing Time: Set to ligh foot traffice floors are set to light foot traffice after approx 24 hours. Ready to use: floors are ready for used after approx 14days. Basins and swimming pools can be filled after 21 days.

Consumption:2.5kg/m2

NB: Use the product in temperature between +5 to +40 degree C

Storage: 12 months in the origional unopened packaging in a dry and ventilated place. Protect From Humidity

Product Details:

Technical Characteristics: Isolastic is a very fluid, pinkish-white liquid composed of a water dispersion of an extremely elastic polymer, which, when mixed with cement based adhesives, improves adhesion to all substrates, deformability and impermeability, once hydration has taken place.

Recommendations: Kerabond, Kerabond T, Kerafloor or Adesilex P10 mixed with Isolastic must never be used for:

Installing stone slabs subject to moisture movement

Iinstalling marble or natural stone subject to efflorescence or staining from moisture

Installing tiles in reservoirs, swimming pools or refrigeration rooms that need to be put into service quickly

Installing on metal, rubber, PVC, and linoleum surfaces

At temperatures lower than +5°C or higher than +40°C.

In dry, hot climates, the open time of an adhesive made by mixing Isolastic into Kerabond, Kerabond T, Kerafloor or Adesilex P10 is shorter. A skin may form on the surface, which must then be removed and fresh adhesive applied.

Application Procedure: Preparing the substratesAll substrates receiving Kerabond, Kerabond T, Kerafloor or Adesilex P10 + Isolastic must be flat, mechanically strong, free from loose parts, grease, oil, paint, wax, etc. Precast concrete elements or in situ concrete must be cured for at least 3 months in favourable weather conditions. Cementitious substrates must not be subject to shrinkage once the tiles have been installed, therefore in warm weather renders should be cured at least one week per centimetre of thickness. Cementitious screeds must have an overrall cure of at least 28 days unless they have been made with the special MAPEI binders for screeds such as Mapecem, Mapecem Pronto, Topcem or Topcem Pronto. Surfaces that are too hot due to exposure to direct sunlight should be cooled by dampening them with water.

Gypsum substrates and anhydrite screeds must be perfectly dry (maximum residual moisture 0.5%), sufficiently hard and free from dust. They must always be treated with Primer Gor Eco Prim T. Areas subject to extreme damp must be primed with Primer S.

As a general rule, refer to the relative MAPEI technical documentation about substrate preparation before repairing cracks in substrates, consolidating rapid-drying screeds and levelling off installation surfaces.

Where to Use:

Formation of bonded, unbonded and floating screeds on both existing and new concrete prior to the installation of wood, PVC, linoleum, ceramic tiles, natural stone, carpet or any other flooring where rapid drying is required for short installation times

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Some application examples:

Formation of screeds set to light foot traffic after 12 hours and completely dry after 4 days, for laying resilient flooring and 4 days for wooden flooring.

Formation of screeds on which ceramic tiles can be laid after 24 hours and natural stone after 2 days.

Patching and repairing floor screeds where rapid restoration is required.

Preparation of screeds incorporating underfloor heating systems without the need for polymer additives

Technical Characterisitics: Topcem is a special hydraulic binder which, when mixed with graded aggregates and water, can produce mortars that can harden in approximately 24 hours, and dry in approximately 4 days.

Recommendations:

Do not mix Topcem with other cement, lime, gypsum or Mapecem etc.

Do not leave Topcem dry-mixed with aggregates, immediately add the correct quantity of water to the mix.

Do not mix Topcem just with fine sand, use aggregates graded from 0 to 8 mm (for screeds up to 5-6 cm thick).

Do not mix Topcem with an excessive quantity of water.

Do not add water and remix Topcem after it has started to set.

Classification In Compliance With EN 12004: Keralastic is an improved (2) reaction adhesive (R) classied as class R2.KeralasticT is an improved (2) reaction adhesive (R) and slip resistant (T) classied as R2T.Conformity of Keralastic and Keralastic T is declared in ITT certicates n° 25040320/Gi (TUM) and n° 25040471/Gi (TUM)respectively, issued by the Technische Universität München laboratory (Germany).
Where to Use: Indoor and outdoor, bonding of wall and oor ceramic tiles, stone material mosaics, etc. on:· screeds, renders, concrete, asphalt, wood, metal, PVC, reinforced polyester, bre-cement, gypsum, gypsum board,gypsum panels, etc.
Some application examples:
Bonding ceramic tiles, stone material and all types of mosaics in showers and on sheets used for prefabricatedbathrooms.
Bonding ceramic tiles and mosaics on wooden work surfaces or in kitchens in order to achieve a waterproof substrate.
Bonding ceramic tiles, stone material and mosaics on balconies, external terraces, domes or at roofs subject to foottrafc.
Bonding natural stones and reconstructed stone (marble of every type, slate, etc.) also subject to movement and sizevariation due to the absorption of water (class C of size stability according to MAPEI standards).
Bonding ceramic tiles and stone material on surfaces subject to vibrations and deflections.

Technical Characterisitics: Keralastic and Keralastic T are two-component, solvent and water free adhesives which are exible and waterproof. Theyare made up of a polyurethane base (component A) and a special hardener (component B).
On mixing the two components together, the result is a paste with the following properties:
Good workability
Excellent durability and resistant to ageing
Perfect adhesion to all surfaces used in building
Hardens by chemical reaction without shrinkage (until it becomes highly resistant)
High deformability
In the case of Keralastic T, highly thixotropic: it can be applied vertically without slump and without letting even heavy orlarge tiles slip. The slipping strength is in compliance with EN 1308

Technical Characteristics: Adesilex P9 is grey powder composed of cement,fine aggregates, synthetic resins and special additives developed in the Mapei Research and Development Laboratories.

Kerapoxy Adhesive is a two-component, epoxy resin-based, high strength mortar with silica sand and special admixtures, according to a formula developed in MAPEI’s own research laboratories. When the two components are mixed together, a thixotropic mix is obtained which can be easily applied, even on vertical surfaces, at a thickness of up to 1 cm in one single coat.

Where to Use: Internal and external bonding of ceramic, porcelain and stone to floors and walls, on all substrates normally used in the building industry.
Some application examples: Bonding of all types and forms of ceramic tiles.Rigid bonding of bullnose and special ceramic tile shapes.Bonding tiles in fibreglass swimming pools.Bonding marble doorsteps and windowsills

Recommendations:
Do not add water or solvents to Kerapoxy Adhesiveto increase workability.
Use the product at temperatures between +10°C  and +30°C.
The packages are pre-dosed and, therefore, it is  not possible to make mixing ratio errors. Do not  estimate the quantities when mixing the two components: hardening will be compromised if the catalysing ratio is wrong.
If residues of the product remain attached to the  tiles, use water for cleaning while the residue is still fresh. Use Pulicol 2000 if the product is hard, or remove mechanically.
Kerapoxy Adhesive must not be used for sealing flexible joints or those which are subject to movement (use Mapesil AC or Mapeflex PU21).

Protection of structures with an inadequate layer of concrete over the reinforcement rods against the penetration ofaggressive elements.

Protection of concrete surfaces which may come into contact with sea water, de-icing salts, such as sodium or calciumchloride, and sulphates

Two-component, versatile, decorative, acid-resistant epoxy grout, with a bacteriostatic agent and BioBlock technology, easy to apply and clean, ideal for grouting ceramic tiles, glass mosaics and stone materials, to be used also in combination with MapeGlitter and Mapecolor Metallic. For grouting joints from 1 to 15 mm wide. Can also be used as an adhesive.

Where to Use: Decorative grouting of internal and external tiled floors and walls. Also suitable for an acid-resistant bond to all substrates normally used in the building industry.

Kerapoxy Easy Design allows to create floors, walls, worktops etc. in compliance with the HACCP system and the requirements of EC Regulation No. 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs.

Technical Characteristics: erapoxy Easy Design is a two-component, epoxy resin-based decorative grout, with glass micro-spheres and other special components. It has an excellent resistance to acids, easy workability and is very easy to clean. Kerapoxy Easy Design has a bacteriostatic agent, preventing from the proliferation of bacteria and the formation of mould on the surfaces of grouts, making tiled surfaces hygienic and safe, thanks to the innovative BioBlock technology developed as a result of MAPEI research.

This is a product with very low emission of volatile organic compounds and is classified Emicode EC1 Plus by GEV when used for grouting.

Kerapoxy Easy Design may be mixed with up to 6 % by weight of MapeGlitter, metallised coloured glitter, to create aesthetic effects. Percentage depends on the aesthetic effect and workability desired. MapeGlitter is available in silver and gold.

Kerapoxy Easy Design may be mixed with Mapecolor Metallic, available in pre-dosed sachets (90 g, equal to 3% by weight of a 3 kg drum of Kerapoxy Easy Design), powder pigment based on very high-quality pearlescent mica, to create a metallic effect. Mapecolor Metallicis available in Moonlight (similar to platinum), Sahara (similar to gold), Shining (similar to silver), Red clay (similar to copper), Stardust (similar to dark silver). In order to obtain a homogeneous mix, we suggest to add Mapecolor Metallic of the desired colour to Kerapoxy Easy Design 700 (translucent).

Mixing Mapecolor Metallic with Kerapoxy Easy Designof other colours may result in numerous metallic effects with different intensity and shades. It is recommended to carry out preliminary tests since the result may vary based on the colours and quantities used, however within the maximum dosage of 3% by weight so that the workability of the grout/mortar is not affected.
